The Association of North East Councils trading as NEPO intend to establish a concession contract for the provision of a fully delivered and managed electric vehicle charging infrastructure network. The awarded Supplier will be responsible for the
funding of the capital investment needed to modernise the existing infrastructure, the ongoing operation and maintenance of the network and to work with Contracting Authorities to expand the reach of the network. NEPO intends to award the contract for up to 15 years and to allow other regional Contracting Authorities to participate over the course of its operation.

NEPO are using an open procedure for the procurement of this concession contract in line with PCR 2015 principles and procedures. The opportunity can be accessed via the NEPO eTendering system. Suppliers wishing to be considered for this contract must register their expression of interest and

NEPO is a Central Purchasing Body as defined in the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR15). This means that NEPO may provide central purchasing activity on behalf of Contracting Authorities.
The contract will be available for use by all NEPO Members within the North East region. A list of member organisations is available in the About section of the NEPO website at: www.nepo.org
This contract will also be made available to all current and future NEPO Associate Members throughout the North East region. Current Associate Members are listed in the Associate Member section of the NEPO website at: www.nepo.org/associate-membership/list
