Dudley MBC is seeking provision of accommodation with housing related support for adult single people and couples aged over 18 years of age who are priority and non-priority homeless, at risk of becoming homeless or sleeping rough who need immediate access to housing and support in order to prevent homelessness in the Dudley boroughThe service must work positively and proactively with other accommodation-based services to identify a wide range of longer-term accommodation possibilities and facilitate access and referral to them. As part of individuals move on plans the service must include some transition work with appropriate community/floating support services where needed to ensure continuity of support to mitigate anxieties of moving onto independent living and setting up and sustain their new tenancy. All aspects of support within the service should enable individuals to live independently and sustain their tenancy or home and prevent the need for more intensive support.
