[The project/works is for the provision of a New Energy Centre that will deliver heat and electrical power to the Royal Group of Hospitals site. The New (Multi-storey) Energy Centre Building will contain both heat and power generating plant with all associated ancillary plant, controls and equipment. The building will be mainly dedicated to engineering plant and services areas, but will also include some operations staff accommodation. A new high voltage (HV) incoming supply and sub-station, along with oil storage facility – external to the Energy Centre – will also be major component of these works. Main plant will include (but not be limited to) steam boilers, combined heat and power (CHP) units, heat recovery boiler and 11kV HV generators. The works duration is planned for 32months
