The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire (PCC) and Cheshire Fire Authority (CFA) requires a Support and Maintenance Service for Air Conditioning and ventilation Equipment. The Contract comprises the routine annual servicing, maintenance and repairs of all air conditioning units and Air Handling Units. The call-out and emergency maintenance on a 24 hours per day, 365 (366), 7 days per year basis. The supply installation and commissioning of replacement units is also within scope of this contract.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire (PCC) and Cheshire Fire Authority (CFA) requires a Support and Maintenance Service for Air Conditioning and ventilation Equipment. The Contract comprises the routine annual servicing, maintenance and repairs of all air conditioning units and Air Handling Units to ensure operational reliability and efficiency which are to be carried out in accordance with the following check list and an inspection report submitted to the PCC/ CFA, to ensure that these operate reliably and safely, and include for:-a) The routine annual servicing of Air Conditioning units and Air Handling Units will be carried out during a normal working day, i.e. between 0800 hours and 1600 hours, Monday to Friday, except Bank Holidays.b) The call-out and emergency maintenance on a 24 hours per day, 365 (366), 7 days per year basis.c) Repairs and replacement work, as instructed by the PCC/ CFA, the cost of which will be valued in accordance with the Contract documents. d) The PCC/CFA may require the supply, installation and commissioning of replacement/new air conditioning units under this agreementEach response for the Provision of Servicing and Maintenance of Air Conditioning & Ventilation Equipment should include but not necessarily be limited to the requirements outlined in the specification. The PCC/CFA reserves the right to review the content and detail of this service specification. All work will be subject to Purchase Orders, which will be raised against separate finance systems for the PCC and CFA, invoicing will be to both organisations separately for their respective buildings.
