Wakefield Council is seeking to establish a framework agreement (6 lots) for the provision of specialist equipment for installation in service users homes, including servicing and repairs. This will cover all tenure types within the Wakefield district and could be funded directly through the authority or by a DFG available to a service user.

Lot 1: Stairlifts (straight and Curved);

Lot 2: Ceiling Track Hoists;

Lot 3: Steplifts (up to 1 metre in Travel and up to 2 metres in Travel;

Lot 4: Through Floor Lifts (Hydraulic, Traction and Side Hung);

Lot 5: Service and Maintenance of Hoists out of Manufacturer’s Warranty;

Lot 6: Service and Maintenance of Lifts out of Manufacturer’s Warranty.

It is anticipated that one supplier will be awarded to each lot however suppliers can bid for one or more lots.

The contract will commence 1 April 2021, initially for 3 years with option to extend for further 12 months. The prices will be fixed for the initial 3-year term and any extension.
