ABP require a contractor for the design and construction of the outer harbour redevelopment at the Port of Lowestoft.Key project features include but may not be limited to:• Up to 360m quay – providing up to 3 SOV berths• New heavy lift paving• Dredging including approach channels and a -7.5mCD berth pocket• Up to 4.5 acres of storage space (mixture of new and existing)• New drainage including interceptors and outfalls• Electrical - civils infrastructure only• Potable water and fire main extension• Fuelling provision – civils infrastructure only• High Mast Lighting • Dedicated CTV berthing pontoonsThe ultimate objective of the Project is to deliver a comprehensive port infrastructure upgrade within the Outer Harbour at the Port of Lowestoft. These upgrades are necessary to enable the Port to capture the significant SNS (Southern North Sea) offshore energy opportunities. All three of the vessel types are utilised daily within the renewables and O&G (Oil and Gas) sectors, but do not currently visit the Port of Lowestoft.
