two.1.4) Short description

Stockport Homes Group (SHG) is an Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO), managing social housing stock on behalf of Stockport Council; they also own properties and buildings through property development.

The successful contractor is required to deliver a robust servicing and maintenance regime to 9 commercial grade biomass boilers delivering heating and hot water to circa 2,000 residents across 7 sites within the Stockport region.

The contract duration will be for 3 years with the option of a 2-year extension, subject to performance.

The Contract is designed to deliver:

• A servicing and maintenance regime that ensures that the bio-mass systems are always operating at maximum efficiency and that any periods of non-operation are kept to an absolute minimum.

• Annual servicing regime and cleaning of industrial grade flue systems.

• 24 hours, 7 days a week, all year-round reactive maintenance cover.

• Design and installation work where required for medium to large scale investment projects, costed as and when required.
