The Scottish Ministers require transcription services on behalf of the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry. A verbatim reporting service is required which will provide a real-time transcript to the Inquiry panel and other team members, along with the legal representatives of core participants, during hearings both in its public hearing venue and by remote delivery online. The edited and corrected version of that transcript will be provided to the Inquiry the following day and become part of the permanent record of the Inquiry.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Scottish Ministers require transcription services on behalf of the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry. To fulfil its Terms of Reference, the Inquiry will hold Public Hearings at its hearing venue and by remote link. At such Public Hearings, a verbatim reporting service is required to provide a real-time transcript to the Inquiry panel and other team members, along with the legal representatives of core participants, during hearings both in its public hearing venue and by remote delivery online. The Service Provider must be capable of providing secure video conferencing services, providing access and use by Customer and approved participants of a secure audio or video conferencing platform and functionality made available by the Service Provider to the Customer and Participants for the remote public hearings. The edited and corrected version of that transcript will be provided and become part of the permanent record of the Inquiry.
