This indicative Lot would cover where the Council has already appointed a Design Team and allows for the services of that Design team to either be retained or be novated across to the contractor.

The Lotting strategy for the Framework has not yet been finalised and the title and function of this Lot should only be considered as indicative at this time.

six.3) Additional information

The PIN is being utilised by the City of Edinburgh Council to assist in understanding the current marketplace and options available. The Council would be grateful if interested parties would complete the questionnaire attached to the notice and return by the date indicated within, to the email address detailed.

At this time, the Council is planning to consult with city region partners and offer these organisation's the chance to utilise the Framework Agreement. Please note, this has not been tested with these partners at this time.

As such, please also note that the estimated value of the Framework Agreement provided in this notice is only representative of the City of Edinburgh Council's potential spend.

An indicative scope of the number of homes planning to be built in the timeframe of the Framework Agreement is provided alongside this PIN Notice. Please note that these figures are based on the recent analysis of the regional pipeline undertaken in December 2023 and are indicative only. Furthermore, the figures provided are subject to consultation, funding and Statutory Consents and as such, are subject to change.
