The London Borough of Hounslow requires an experience contractor to be responsible for the design, manufacture, and install / replacement of approximately 220 signs across the Borough, these include large welcome noticeboards, playground information, and cemetery regulation signs, along with ground works required at the specified locations.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The London Borough of Hounslow’s Parks team manages over 140 parks and open spaces across the borough. These vary from churchyards and recreation grounds to large conservation areas and countryside sites.

Hounslow is currently working on a signage refresh programme, to replace and upgrade existing items and install new signs on sites which previously have not had them.

Hounslow requires an experience contractor to be responsible for the design, manufacture, and install / replacement of approximately 220 signs across the Borough, these include large welcome noticeboards, playground information, and cemetery regulation signs, along with ground works required at the specified locations.

Bidders will be required to address their sustainability approach in their proposal, by either making use of existing signage or including provision to recycle it separately.

The initial contract period is expected to be 9 months. The contract will automatically renew if required until Hounslow has expended all the available budget and the final works on the signage have been completed and signed off.

Bidders should note that the final number of signs to be designed, manufactured and installed will be determined on the per-sign cost and this being contained within Hounslow’s budget.
