Tenders are invited for the provision of Seasonal Lights for Royal Leamington Spa. This tender is for the provision of seasonal illuminations throughout Leamington Spa town centre, including: providing and maintaining the illuminations; maintaining the associated infrastructure (including testing of catenary cables and hanging fittings, yearly anchor bolts testing); installation and testing of the illuminations; removal and storage of the illuminations. The contract will be for a period of 5 years commencing July 2024.The Contract Value is £80,000 per 12-month period. This is the maximum budget available per annum.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
This tender is for the provision of seasonal illuminations throughout Leamington Spa town centre, including: providing and maintaining the illuminations; maintaining the associated infrastructure (including testing of catenary cables and hanging fittings, yearly anchor bolts testing); installation and testing of the illuminations; removal and storage of the illuminations. The tendered scheme design must achieve a consistent high-quality scheme that builds on what has been displayed historically and must reflect the theme for the town specified. The existing scheme is jointly owned, funded and managed by three organisations as following:• Warwick District Council (WDC): Total contribution is £34,000 per annum. WDC is the lead contracting organisation. Royal Leamington Spa Town Council: Total contribution is £23,000 per annum. The Town Council is funded by the residents of Leamington Spa. Historically their funding contribution has been orientated to the central and south part of the town centre (from the Town Hall to the South Town up to the Canal). • BID Leamington: Total contribution is £23,000 per annum. BID Leamington is primarily funded by 348 retail and leisure sector businesses located north of the River. BID Leamington owns some of the existing lights including the central teardrop motif on Bath Street, four reindeer from the two crossings on Warwick Street and the reindeer on the Town Hall balcony. These are available for refurbishment and use if desired.The Contract Value is £80,000 per 12-month period. This is the maximum budget available per annum. As part of this contract value, a provisional sum of £5000/annum has been set aside for any repairs, maintenance, call outs beyond the specified requirements.The contract will be for a period of 5 years commencing July 2024
