Maiden Erlegh Trust (MET) is a multi-academy trust of 6 schools in Berkshire and South Oxfordshire and is characterised by its mix of provision from large secondary (11-19 and 11-16) to primary, special schools and alternative provision.

The Trust also currently has two further Free Schools under development and in the pre-opening stage. Oak Tree School will be a 150-place special school located in Wokingham and is due to open in September 2022. River Academy will be a 1,500-place secondary school with sixth form and is due to open in September 2023

In addition to this, the Trust is currently consulting on a proposed merger with a small, local MAT of three primary schools. Bidders should assume that there will be one ICT contract, let by Maiden Erlegh Trust on behalf of all its schools.

This procurement encompasses a full outsource of the ICT service for the Trusts schools and Head office to a single supplier. There will be one ICT Contract for all sites.

At the sole discretion of the Trust any future schools that the Trust may incorporate will also be added to the ICT contract. The current assumption is that over the life of the contract this will include 3 primary and 3 secondary settings. Any additional schools will co-terminate to the same end date of the initial contract. At the sole discretion of the Trust the initial services provided may vary both up and down during the lifetime of the contract.
