The Council is looking to appoint a single suitably experienced supplier (Contractor) per lot, to provide carriageway patching repairs and ancillary works within Leicestershire County Council (lot 1) & Leicester City Council (lot 2), including:

Inlay patching of carriageways - Surface course, Binder course, Base Course and Sub-base:

• Inclusive of all required works – e.g. excavation/milling, removal of non-hazardous arisings, tack coat, provision and placing of materials, compaction and any requirements of the Specification

• Provision and lay various type of conventional bituminous bound materials

• Options for ‘Warm Mix’ binder course

• Options to price different sized patches

• Adjustment items for tasks orders where the ordered volume of combined Surface course, Binder course, Base Course and Sub-base is <50cu.m.

• Adjustment items for working nights and weekends

• Adjustment items for restricted working

Overlay patching of carriageways - Surface course:

• All overlay work will be machine laid

• Provision of all required resources on a per shift basis

• Provision of materials on a tonnage or sq.m. basis

• Adjustment items for working nights and weekends

• Adjustment items for restricted working

Ancillary Works:

• Replacement and/or adjustment of manholes and covers (including ‘Pacopatch’ or equivalent proprietary systems)

• ‘Pacopatch’ or equivalent items can be ordered on a standalone basis, i.e. without patching

• Refix or replace small amounts of kerbing adjacent to patching works

• Reinstatement of small amounts of road markings – i.e. those disturbed by patching works only
