Belfast City Council requires an organisation, or collective of organisations or individuals to work with the Council to promote and operate the visitor centre, including operation of walking tours of Belfast’s City Cemetery. The following will be required under the contract:
• Operation and management of an accessible public building
• Provision of specialist adult workshops (Genealogy, Archaeology Stone carving, Biodiversity skills)
• Provision of educational and youth events
• Operation of walking tours of the site & any associated commercial activity
• Marketing and Communications
• Programming events - Although not a requirement of this tender, the successful Bidder will be encouraged to come forward with their own programming ideas
The successful Bidder must have a collective capacity and ability to deliver on all these elements.

Description of options
The Council may require optional/additional services throughout the Contract Period. When required, Optional Services will be called-off and implemented in accordance with the terms and conditions. The charges for such Optional Services will be determined based on the agreement of costs by the Council and any costs will be as per the rates outlined in the tender submission. Accordingly, the Contract shall be subject to modification for “Optional Services” without a new procurement procedure in accordance with Regulation 72(1(a) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015
