North Star is looking to procure a provider of catering services to operate and run The Bistro at our Aspen Gardens site. Our Extra Care scheme, Aspen Gardens is located in the Hardwick area of Stockton. The Scheme is part of a regeneration area within a large housing estate of mixed development and tenure. The service is located close to a number of local amenities and on the doorstep to North Tees Hospital. The extra care scheme was developed in partnership with Stockton Borough Council and North Star to meet the needs of older people who need care and support to continue to live independently in the community and in their own home. The service opened in 2007, it is a building with a mixture of 50, two bedroomed apartments and Bungalows set around a courtyard with vast outdoor space.
