Bidders should hold a UKAS (or Equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate for compliance in accordance with BS OHSAS 18001 (or equivalent) or has a regularly reviewed and documented policy for Health and Safety management, endorsed by Senior Management or equivalent. The policy must be relevant to the nature and scale of the work and set out responsibilities for Health & Safety management at all levels within the organisation.
Bidders should hold a UKAS (or Equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate for compliance in accordance with BS EN ISO 14001 (or equivalent) or a valid EMAS (or equivalent) certificate, or, has a regularly reviewed and documented policy for Environmental management, endorsed by Senior Management or equivalent. This policy must include and describe the bidders environmental emergency response procedures including the preparedness and response procedures for potential accidents and emergency response situations that give rise to significant environmental impacts.
The bidder must confirm that they will provide certificates of authenticity where required.

Tenderers must be able to provide a Contract Manager, who will be the primary point of contact between the Tenderer and the Council. Contract management and performance review provisions are further detailed below.
The Council will review the performance of the Services from time to time to ensure that they continue to meet the requirements of the Council.
The quality of the Services shall be measured by the extent to which the accord with the standards and timescales included within the Specification and the Response and to accepted professional standards.
