This contract will reward maximising sales and FSM uptake through pro-active management and consistently high levels of food quality and tangible contract support. The School and CCL expect the successful Contractor to guarantee their financial proposal within reason and deliver excellent standards. The business manager and SLT have requested that in this tender exercise the bidders focus on:A transformational working partnership, delivered via a TUPE compliant bid, with additional recommendations on service equipment, serving points, staffing levels and a bespoke food concept to drive sales and uptake in this high performing Grammar School. There is one busy main restaurant and the kitchen is having a much needed extension built during the summer term. Kent County Council are managing the project and full plans and equipment lists are in the Photo Journal and will also be included in the final ITT document pack. There is also scope for an additional serving POD in a location near the sports fields. The incumbent caterer is Independent Catering and the existing contract is at the end of its maximum tenure. In short, the School needs to be convinced the bidders are able to deliver their promises, achieve their sales targets, deliver their service enhancements in full and support the School. Should the School not be convinced of this they reserve the right to revert to an ‘insourced’ solution or post no award. Any investment proposals will need to be consistent with ESFA guidelines.
