The aim of the procurement is to is to provide a service across the Greater Manchester (GM) area that gives support to young people, from 0-17 years inclusive, seven days a week, who are in crisis e.g. experiencing anxiety, panic attacks, depression, suicidal thoughts and evolving to self-defined crisis by the young person. The procurement is looking to develop both daytime locality based services as well as a whole GM overnight service.

The contract for both the Day and Nighttime Service will have an initial term of 36 months with a maximum extension of a further 24 months, however for the Daytime Service Provision the Service Commencement date will be between 1st April 2024 - 1st July 2024 (to be agreed between successful providers and the Contract Authority dependant on mobilisation requirements. For the Overnight Service Provision the Service Commencement date will be 1st July 2024). The contracts will have an estimated combined annual value of £1,000,000.

The Services to which this Procurement relates fall within the scope of Schedule 1 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. As such, the procurement of the Services is being run as a bespoke, single-stage application process akin to the Open Procedure.
