Choice Housing wishes to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to carry out MEI works at Corkey House, Belfast. The works are listed below and include various repairs to the Corkey House complex in Belfast and are detailed in the ITT documentation and associated Works Information and Site Information. Although there may be some minor variations from property-to-property, in general the scope of refurbishment/improvement works comprise but are not limited to: • Internal alteration works to form 2nr new ensuite bedrooms • The provision of new Choice specification bath/shower rooms (inc. new PVC clad walls and non-slip floor finishes), which will also comply (where possible) with the requirements of the DfC Design Guide • The provision of new communal fire doorsets to all floors. • The provision of new fire rated screens to internal communal areas. • Decoration of the internal communal areas. • Replacement of all suspended ceiling grid systems and tiles to communal areas. • Replacement of all floor finishes within communal areas. • The upgrade/renewal of existing insulation measures to the roof void to ensure compliance with current NI Building Regulations. • The provision of Fire Compartmentation and Fire Stopping to the existing roof void and communal areas. • Roof cleaning. • Eaves upgrade to include new eaves felt, fascia and soffits. • Dry verge installation. • Power washing of paths. • Boundary wall repairs and cleaning. The above list of Works represents a general summary only and the Contractor must refer to all sections of the Works Information, Site Information and Price List to ensure they’re fully conversant with, and understand, all aspects of the Contract requirements.
