The requirement is for Bidders to provide a Prevention, Protection and Operational Risk (PPOR) Software System which is capable of meeting the mandatory compliance reporting and outcomes required, within the Fire Service.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Services (DWFRS) are conducting an “Invitation to Tender” through Bluelight E-Sourcing Portal using an “Open Procedure”. The requirement is for Bidders to provide a Prevention, Protection and Operational Risk (PPOR) Software System which is capable of meeting the mandatory compliance reporting and outcomes required, within the Fire Service. We are looking for an existing solution and not a system which requires development. Contract will be initially for 2 years, with 2 options to extend by 2 years, so a possible 6 year contract if options undertaken by DWFRS.

The Software Solution will be capable of meeting the Fire Service mandatory requirements from the Home Office to record and report the Prevention and Protection activities undertaken. The Home Office have specific requirements as to what data they require, and in addition to this, DWFRS have their own additional data requirements.

There is an expectation that Bidders will have an understanding, of Emergency Services requirements, especially within the Emergency Services and Fire Service Sector. The software will be customisable, so that the data collection can be tailored to meet local requirements and those of our partnering organisations such as Home Office, National Fire Chiefs Councils (NFCC) and other regulatory and mandatory compliance partners.
