Warwickshire CC is seeking to commissioning a single provider to provide an Empowering Families service which will support our aim in Warwickshire to improve outcomes for children and families by offering one to one volunteer support to families who are struggling with various aspects of parenting and are being supported by Children's Services, via either a child in need or child protection plan.
The service will recruit, train and support volunteers to become peer mentors to other parent(s), to build and restore relationships within families, complementing the services delivered by professionals. The service will be required to work independently alongside Children's Services, matching volunteers with parent(s) who have been referred to the service.
