Hywel Dda University Health Board have a requirement to award an Independent Contractor to undertake Quality Assurance Testing of all

their Ultrasound Imaging Systems & Probes.

Key Requirements:

Annual inspection of ultrasound system

Detailed inspection and test of each probe

Drop out testing, including phased arrays

Uniformity Assessment

Deepest Reverberation Test

Reverberation Threshold Test

B-Mode, Noise Threshold Test

PW Doppler Noise Threshold Test

Colour Doppler Threshold Test

Cable Noise Test

Low Contrast Penetration Test

Grey scale/Cyst Targets Tests
