Description
The Council is inviting proposals from experienced organisations to supply, operate, and fund a replacement micromobility and cycle hire scheme.
This will include, but is not limited to, e-bike and e-cargo bike hire, the scheme may also incorporate e-scooter hire during the contract subject to future legislative changes.
The scheme will involve awarding contracts for e-bike, e-cargo bike, and potentially other micromobility services for to two operators.
It is anticipated that the scheme will provide up to 2,500 e-bikes between the two Operators within the Cardiff City Council area. This number, as well as the mix of vehicle types, may vary over time.
Parking will be in designated bays, supported by measures to ensure safe and efficient use of footways for all users.
