Description

FCDO Services is seeking to establish a framework of selected suppliers to provide global freight forwarding services

FCDO Services is responsible for the provision of the Accompanied Diplomatic Bag (ADB) service. This service involves the movement of goods accompanied by a nominated Government Officer. The service is delivered typically on a Port to Port basis, although Port to Door may be required.

The Suppliers on the framework will be responsible for:

- Securing and facilitating bookings for consignments of any size and weight

- Facilitation of airside Authority witness loading

- Preparation of export and import declarations

- Arranging customs clearance

- Providing handling equipment if required

The Framework will consist of four (4) Lots

Lot 1 - America's

Lot 2 - Europe

Lot 3 - MEA

Lot 4 - Asia Pacific

Tenderers can bid for multiple Lots under the Framework

Each Lot will have a limit on the number of awarded Suppliers:

Lots 1-3 - Suppliers x4 (Per Lot)

Lot 4 - Suppliers x6

The term of the Framework is four (4) years as permitted under the Procurement Act 2023 - 47 (1) (b)

Call-off contracts under the framework will be awarded via further competition

Prices are determined by a rate card which will set the maximum that can be submitted by a supplier under a further competition. Each lot will have it's own rate card
