Scope
Description
1) Research two villages, that were not covered by Charnwood Roots, namely Thornton and Botcheston in the far south-western corner of Charnwood Forest Geopark.
2) Create short historical digests for each village in Charnwood Forest utilising research already gathered by volunteers and staff during Charnwood Roots. These will be short but accurate written histories providing an overview of each place which can be displayed on the Charnwood Forest Geopark website, and which can be used by partners as a contextual framework into which they can fit their own site-specific stories.
