Scope

Description

Natural England and Defra group Commercial are conducting preliminary supply market research for Environmental Delivery Plans (EDPs) that address nutrient pollution under the Nature Restoration Fund (NRF).

This is suppliers' opportunity to begin helping us to develop our requirements and approaches to potential future procurements and evidence that the market is able to supply the goods, services or works required.

We are currently exploring the benefits of developing nutrient EDPs for catchments in England. Where these EDPs go ahead, we will be collecting levy payments from developers to fund conservation measures that address nutrient pollution in the catchments in question.

We are keen to hear from all parts of the nutrient reduction supply chain, such as landowners (including farmers), habitat banks, not-for-profits operating in the nature recovery space, ecological consultancies, and a broader group of contractors and ancillary organisations that could facilitate and deliver nutrient conservation measures. We also want to hear from potential new entrants to the supply chain.
