Description
cliff stabilization works at the Leas Cliff Coastal Park in Folkestone and invites organisations to submit a tender to meet F&HDC's requirements. The specific requirements for the contract are detailed in the Geotechnical Design Report at Appendix A.
The work includes:
* Soil nailing and flexible netting and erosion control mattress to be installed.
* Passive (drape) netting of the slope below the soil nailed.
* reinstatement of the railing at the Madeira Walk and a timber fence at the slope toe to separate the playground from the cliff.
For clarity, the cliff in question is inland. i.e. not coastal defense works.
