Description
The Council invites quotations for the provision of the Youth Voices Service for Children and Young People.
Croydon's vision for children and young people is to be safe, healthy, happy, healthy and to aspire to be the best they can be. The future is theirs. This commission aims to ensure that a broader and more diverse group of children and young people are engaged, heard and involved in shaping local services and policies.
The service will engage and empower children and young people across the borough to influence decisions, policies, and services that affect their lives. It will expand existing youth voice structures and ensure inclusivity, representation, and meaningful participation.
The service will enable:
· A more inclusive and representative Youth Assembly
· Increased trust and engagement between young people and local services
· Evidence-based recommendations from young people influence local policy
· Enhanced visibility and recognition of youth voice in the community
· A sustainable model for young participation in Croydon
