Scope
Description
The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero are looking for a suplier to provide Transportation and Accomadation Services. The requirement is to provide coach and driver services, as well as accommodation booking services, at short notice (from 10 working days to as little as 12 hours), for Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) inspections taking place anywhere in the UK, including Northern Ireland. The inspections are conducted under the terms of the Chemical Weapons Convention, enforced in the UK by the Chemical Weapons Act 1996.

Engagement process description
This Market Engagement is an opportunity for DESNZ to provide suppliers with information about the opportunity and for suppliers to give feedback and help shape the procurement strategy.
Instructions for suppliers:
Interested suppliers are requested to notify their interest in attending a webinar hosted by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero on Monday, 15 December 2025 at 11:00 AM GMT.
Notice of interest should be sent via email to nuclearcommercial@energysecurity.gov.uk by 12:00 PM GMT on 12 December 2025, including the company name and the email address(es) of the attendee(s). Suppliers may nominate up to three individuals from each organisation.
How we intend to engage:
We plan to conduct preliminary market engagement open to suppliers and interested parties, followed by a period for suppliers to submit clarifications.
The session will include a presentation covering the high-level service requirements and invite feedback on early thinking around the procurement structure and commercial elements. There will also be opportunities to raise questions and comments.
Date of commencement:
The Preliminary Market Engagement Webinar will take place via MS Teams at 11:00 AM on Monday, 15 December 2025. If you are unable to attend the webinar, we will share the content of the meeting upon request after the session.
Please provide notice of your interest in attending by 12:00 PM GMT on Friday, 12 December 2025.
