A person is placed on an electronically monitored order or licence. A tamper resistant electronic device is attached to his or her ankle, or if required on their wrist. The device transmits an electronic signal indicating whether the Monitored person has had any unauthorised absences, attendance at restricted locations or has tampered with the device.
