seven.2) Information about modifications
seven.2.1) Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):
The modification to the contract reliant on Regulation 72(1)(b) is required to support continuity of Services provided under the contract as a result of the increased consumption of the network and bandwidth; uplifting the contract award value by £7,422,226.13.
Department for Work and Pensions has modified the contract in reliance on Regulation 72(1)(b) by £663,742.52 Where other modifications have been made to support delivery of Services under the contract DWP has not been required to publish modification notices in accordance with the relevant requirements of Regulation PCR2015.

Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee.
