Description
The cancer and diagnostics projects covered by this business case is for the programme's non ETAP activity. Approval is required to allow the WT&E directorate to fulfil its strategic aims of growing and transforming the workforce to meet service demand in line with Long Term Workforce Plan and 10 Year Plan ambitions.
This budget of £26,565,991 supports existing education programmes (identified in ETAP - Education and Training Activity Plan) and provides infrastructure that delivers additional workforce training and education needs. Identification of workforce needs and priorities are agreed by programme board and in conjunction with regional NHSE leads and delivery partners. This work aligns to national pathway programmes, service priorities and workforce shortages
