Description

The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is considering the procurement of Millimetre Wave Full Body Scanners (MMW FBS) for use in MPS custody suites and the servicing of those MMW FBS over a 5 year period. The MPS through this notice invites expressions of interest from, and engagement with, suppliers of MMW FBS.

It is intended that this requirement will go out to tender in early 2026.

In order to register interest, suppliers should submit contact details to sven.beyrich2@met.police.uk. We will follow up with a questionnaire and meeting planned for mid-December 2025.

This procurement is being conducted by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) on behalf of the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) who are the Contracting Authority as defined in Section 2 of the Procurement Act 2023.
