East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (ESHT) is seeking to procure a provider to deliver a high-quality, accessible, and clinically safe offsite Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) to work alongside the on-site UTC, located close to Eastbourne District General Hospital (EDGH), to support ED deflection, reduce avoidable ED attendances/overcrowding, and improve patient experience and flow.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this framework agreement is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 1st December 2025. This framework agreement has not yet been formally concluded; this notice serves as an intention to establish the framework agreement under the PSR.
