Single supplier - technical reasons
The supplier has demonstrated it has the capability and capacity to provide the required specified vehicles within acceptable timescales to minimise the current risk to overseas personnel. Rapid deployment is required following changed suitability status of existing vehicles in a number of high risk locations. FCDO Services plans to release the formal tender for a new framework covering this type of good in November 2025 negating the need to direct award without competition in the future.
