Description
Description
The proposed framework agreement is intended to secure LUL 73TS Piccadilly Line, 92TS Central Line and 96TS Jubilee Line fleets' supply of components for maintenance and repair of various pneumatic train borne systems. The proposal is to identify potential suppliers by issue of a Preliminary Market Engagement document containing a Market Survey Questionnaire (MSQ) and appendix that lists the components with part numbers and descriptions.
Scope
The scope includes the supply of specific components needed to ensure adherence to TfL for repair and overhaul of on train components of the 73TS, 92TS and 96TS fleets. The components are required to maintain air supply quality and integrity on the fleets and must be supplied exactly as specified in the (MSQ) appendix and from the source specified where stated. The appendix includes the following types of components:
• Hoses and nylon tubing - used to connect various functioning parts
• Filters - for removal of moisture, particles and debris that may cause equipment malfunction
• Valves and regulators - to release, stop or control air pressure
• Various seals/O rings - to ensure integrity of pneumatic connections
• Pipework fittings - for connections between pneumatic pipes and between pipework and pneumatic components
Objective
• Identify suppliers with capability to supply the components as specified in the appendix
• Assess capacity to deliver to depot volume and delivery requirements
• Evaluate supplier assurance capability and adherence TfL requirements
