Description

DVSA has an ongoing requirement for training in the appropriate legislation relating to the Carriage of Hazardous Chemicals and Dangerous Goods by Road. The training is for Traffic Examiners to carry out roadside enforcement activities effectively.

The training will allow Traffic Examiners to perform to the required standard on behalf of both the 'Dangerous Goods Division & The 'Transport Security and Contingencies Directorate' of the Department for Transport. 

The expectation is to deliver training for up to approximately 90 delegates for the initial 3-year contract period, plus three annual refresher courses for existing Traffic Examiners.

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) is looking to procure the services of a supplier to deliver the Carriage of Hazardous Chemicals and Dangerous Goods by roadside training to approximately 90 delegates over an initial 3-year contract period plus 3 refresher courses per year for existing Traffic Examiners.

We have published a Request for Information (RFI). The purpose of the RFI is to gather information and feedback from the market via a Supplier Questionnaire prior to publishing a future tender.
