Description

YPO are looking for Suppliers to be appointed onto a Framework Agreement following a Competitive Tendering Procedure for the supply of Batteries for use primarily in the education market and local authority sectors. This Framework is designed to meet the needs of YPO by establishing an agreement for Suppliers to deliver stock into YPO's distribution centre in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Description of possible extension:

The Framework Agreement will cover the period from 2nd March 2026 to 1st March 2028 with two options to extend for an additional 12 months. The first decision to extend the Framework period will be taken by the end of January 2028 and will be dependent on satisfactory completion of all aspects of the Framework Agreement to date, the current market conditions for this category and YPO's contracting structures. The maximum Framework Agreement period will therefore be 4 years, from 2nd March 2026 to 1st March 2030 (subject to an annual review, incorporating price re-establishment and KPI performance).

Options

The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid.

Any resulting Contract shall be deemed to cover any item that can be supplied by the successful Tenderer(s) over the life of the Contract within the scope of Batteries.

Framework operation description

Prices submitted within this Tender must be fixed for an Initial Period of 12 months from the commencement date of this contract. After this period, any price amendments must be agreed in writing with YPO at least 45 days before any proposed changes and must be backed up with evidence to support any price variations. Any abnormally low or high pricing must be backed up by appropriate evidence

The first annual price refresh may be conducted in December 2027 for pricing to be fixed for the 2028 catalogue running 1st April - 31st March.
