The scope of this work falls within planned maintenance activities and does not include responsive or reactive repairs. All external works described herein are part of the scheduled maintenance programme of work which will be shared as part of the tender pack but it is estimated the annual cost of job raised will range between £1.5m - £5m , This figure is subject to change and does not constitute a commitment or guarantee of volume of works

•Access, Roads, and Footpaths

oConstruction or renewal of vehicular access roads and footways

oDropped kerbs and tactile paving

olarge areas of Car park surfacing, markings, and drainage

oPavement and shared surface reinstatement

oKerbing, edging, and surfacing (bitmac, block paving, concrete, etc.)

•Drainage and Surface Water Management

oInstallation or renewal of foul and surface water systems

oSoakaways, attenuation tanks, and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)

oGullies, manholes, catch pits, and inspection chambers

oCCTV surveys and jetting of existing drainage

oConnection to main sewers

•Foundations and Substructure Works

oConstruction of foundations for:

Bin stores

Scooter/cycle stores

Retaining walls

Boundary walls/fencing

External stores/sheds

Reinforced concrete slabs or bases

•External Works

oStreet furniture (bollards, benches, bin stores)

oLighting columns, ducts, and cable management

•Fencing and Boundary Treatments

oRenewal of fencing (timber, metal, mesh, etc.)

oInstallation of gates and railings

oBrick/block boundary walls and piers

•Utilities and Service Infrastructure

oDiversion or upgrade of service connections (water, electric, gas)

oDucting for new services (e.g. EV charging infrastructure)

oUtility coordination and trenching

•Structural Repairs (if applicable)

Amplius wishes to seek the views of potential suppliers before we tender. We are interested to know some key facts about the market you operate in and how we might shape:

•Performance Metrics.

Your help with this will be invaluable and will assist us in designing the tender, taking account of key commercial considerations for you as suppliers.

It is the intention of this Preliminary Market Engagement Questionnaire to gather a range of qualitative data and information. The information collected during the Preliminary Market Engagement Questionnaire process will not be used for any other purpose.

Please note that this is not a call for competition, or neither is it a procurement exercise.

For the avoidance of doubt, this Preliminary Market Engagement Questionnaire is for the purpose of conducting an Preliminary Market Engagement exercise and will not formally begin the procurement or constitute any commitment by Amplius to undertake any procurement exercise.

Responses will only be used for the purposes of developing the eventual call to competition

Submission of information

Please submit your answers to the questions within the e-sourcing system. You will need to declare that the information you submit is accurate and bona fide at the time of publishing.

Responsibility

Amplius cannot accept responsibility for any costs incurred in completing this request for information and any subsequent supplier involvement in further soft market testing and preliminary supplier engagement activities.

Seeking clarification

1.

If you have any queries or need clarification regarding any part of this request for information, please submit your query within the e-sourcing system.

2.

Only requests for information or clarifications submitted through the e-sourcing system while the request for information is open will be responded to. Clarifications or queries must be submitted by 25/11/25. All suppliers will receive a response to any queries registered.

Conditions for response to request for information

Electronic Submission Requirements

•Amplius will only accept responses submitted electronically through the e-sourcing system.

•All information must be fully uploaded and received within the e-sourcing system before the stated closing date and time. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.

•If any electronic file is corrupt, infected with a virus, or otherwise unreadable, the Preliminary Market Engagement Questionnaire response will not be evaluated.

•Suppliers must ensure that all files are free from viruses and other malicious software immediately prior to submission, using up-to-date virus-checking software.

•Suppliers acknowledge that uploading large files may take time. Adequate time must be allowed to ensure that all files are fully uploaded before the closing deadline. (No single file should exceed 5MB.)

•Amplius will not be liable for any loss, damage, corruption, or destruction of data or information, however caused.

•Any extension to the submission deadline will be at Amplius sole discretion and, if granted, will apply equally to all suppliers.

•The server clock within the e-sourcing system will be the sole reference point for the official submission time.
