Scope
Description
The Trust is seeking a single supplier to provide catering services for all of its schools.
Catering is required for all thirteen schools. There is a requirement for delivered meals to some of the schools.
Total value (estimated)
- £3,000,000 excluding VAT
- £3,600,000 including VAT

- 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2029
- Possible extension to 31 August 2031

Description of possible extension:
Two twelve month extension periods are available if agreed in writing by both parties.
Options
The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid.
If other schools join the trust over the life of this agreement, then they will join this agreement when their pre-existing terms allow.

Competitive flexible procedure description
The Competitive Flexible Procedure will consist of two distinct stages, allowing for an initial assessment of interested suppliers.
Suppliers will be evaluated against the specific objectives of the new contract through the following stages:
• Selection Stage and Shortlisting
• Invitation to Tender (ITT) and Shortlisting for Presentation
The evaluation of the shortlisting process will be based on the information submitted by the bidding companies. This information will be moderated following the submission of the written statements, the presentations and the checking of supplier references.
