To support better mental health for all and more specifically the mental health of children and young people (CYP) and their families.

Peterborough City Council intends to award this contract to the existing provider of this service (NESSie IN Ed CIC) in line with Direct Award Process C under The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.

The approximate lifetime value of this contract was originally listed as £267,000 (which was the total aggregated spend in relation to this contract and included both this award as well as the previous contract) and should have instead stated £90,000 (the cost for this award specifically).

The contract is due to commence from 1st October 2025 and will run until 1st July 2026. The contract will include an optional 9 month extension period. If the optional extension is used then the contract end date will be 1st April 2027.

Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee.

Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:

The Provider Selection Regime specifies the lifetime value of the contract and an administrative error was made when inputting the value that resulted in a total of £267,000 within the notice. This value is the combined total from the originally sourced contract in addition to the £90,000 for this specific contract. The correct value for this specific contract is £90,000.
