Engagement process description
Surrey County Council (SCC) needs to deploy a range of low carbon and renewable energy technologies in a cost neutral way to make progress against our commitment to reach net zero by 2050. In 2025 our contract with our existing partner ends, and we are looking to secure a new partner to help us build on our successes in this space, but also to go further and increase the deployment of low carbon and renewable energy technologies in Surrey.
Surrey County Council anticipates going to the market at the end of November 2025. This Expression of Interest (EoI) seeks information relating to the council's ambitions around driving uptake of renewables and clean heat technology in Surrey via group purchasing schemes, which will help us shape our approach to the market.
