This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.

The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by midnight on the 7th October 2025.

This Contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award a contract under the competitive process of the PSR.

The tender required bidders to price for the Provision of Family Centre Service - Public Health Nursing .

The successful provider has been assessed against the relevant PSR 5 key criteria which were weighted in terms of their importance and detailed in the instruction to tenderers document.

The winning Provider was scored against the key criteria and was ranked the highest scoring tenderer out of the bids received.

The award decision makers are: Head of Commissioning & Service Delivery and Associate Director/Consultant in Public Health

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice.

This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.

This contract has now been formally awarded using the competitive process.

A review was undertaken during the standstill period following a representation to the award decision, a response was provided and the standstill period was extended by 5 working days after which the decision to proceed with the award was made by the Head of Commissioning & Service Delivery and the Associate Director/Consultant in Public Health, no further representations were made.

The Contract was awarded on the 23rd November 2024 following completion of the standstill period.

The Contract Period for this Contract is an initial period of 4 years 3 months with the option to extend to a further 2 years (1+1). Therefore, the maximum duration of this Contract could be 6 years 3 months.

The Contract commencement date is 1st April 2026 meaning the initial term will end on 31st December 2029. Mobilisation will commence in November 2025.

Estimated lifetime value of the Contract inclusive of mobilisation costs is £92,187,405.80
