Scope

Description

The UK Hydrographic Office ("Authority"), based in Taunton, Somerset, requires support for its Operational requirements for an initial 36 months term, with 1 optional 12 month extension, as follows:

1.Gridding and Data Improvement - to carry out data improvement tasks within the Hydrographic Database to enable gridding of our data packages and generation of new gridded ENC cells.

2.Compilation and Support - to carry out the full range of these cartographic compilation tasks

3.Repromat Processing - to manage the conversion of Foreign Government Hydrographic Office (FGHO) charts that are being adopted into the UKHOs digital and paper chart series.

4.CUIA - to create Notice to Mariners, Blocks, Tracings, chart base updates and maintain their associated audit trails.

5.HDT and DCPT Support - to update and maintain the Hydrographic Data Base for work specified by the Hydrographic Data Team.

The Authority intends to carry out any subsequent procurement of similar services via a Direct Award as outlined in Paragraph 8b of Schedule 5 - Direct Award of the Procurement Act 2023.
