Description

Ceredigion County Council invites suitably qualified service providers to submit to deliver a service that ensures that children and young people with a disability and/or additional needs can access play, childcare and recreational opportunities.

The service will include:

• Specialist holiday playschemes for children aged 4 to 12 years,

• Activity days in the holidays for young people aged 12 to 18 years,

• Away weekends per year for children aged 8 to 18 years,

• Drop-in play sessions,

• Evening activities.

Total value (estimated)

  • £295,000 excluding VAT
  • £354,000 including VAT

  • 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028
  • Possible extension to 31 March 2030
  • 4 years

Description of possible extension:

Possible extension of up to an additional 2 years subject to agreement by the succesful supplier and the Council.
