We are currently delivering a large Collective Action Project in southern Spain, spanning Doñana and Murcia. The project is managed by Good Stuff International (GSI), which has established a strong local network and generated significant momentum. As GSI's current contract ends in November 2025, transitioning to a new supplier at this point could disrupt ongoing activities, risk loss of local trust, and create inefficiencies as a new supplier would need time and resources to rebuild understanding and relationships. A new provider at this stage could also incur significant onboarding costs, including travel, stakeholder mapping, translation, and re-engagement efforts. These would represent poor use of funds for an interim period when a re-tender is currently planned for 2026.
To maintain progress, attract additional funding, and dedicate more resources to the smaller Murcia project, we plan to split the initiative into two separate projects.
The required services include:
•Ongoing project management and stakeholder coordination through the transition period.
•Support for the Doñana stakeholder workshop in November 2025.
•Facilitation of planning for the next phase of collective action (December 2025 - January 2026).
•Preparation for and implementation of the formal project split in April 2026.
Given this schedule, WRAP anticipates going to open tender in May 2026 for the next phase of delivery, to ensure seamless continuity and maintain project momentum.
