Scope
Description
Lancashire County Combined Authority (LCCA) is seeking to establish an Adult Skills open Framework to deliver skills training provision for the whole of Lancashire.
It is intended to establish an open framework for a duration of eight years which will be re-opened to competition periodically.
The framework will be established under the provisions of the light touch provisions under the Procurement Act 2023.
The framework will initially cover Adult Skills Fund and Skills Bootcamps. There may also be future provision under other initiatives or funing streams.
LCCA is the lead contracting authority for the framework overall and Adult Skills Fund. Lancashire County Council will be the contracting authority for Skills Bootcamps. The framework will also allow call-offs by Blackpool Council and Blackburn with Darwen Council.
It is intended that suppliers who are successfully appointed to the framework following conclusion of the anticipated procurement procedure, will participate in further call-off procedures in order to award call-off contract for skills training delivery.
The market engagement event is for providers who deliver or wish to deliver adult skills training within Lancashire.
