Description
Local authorities, funders and tourism partners are concerned about the economic unsustainability and inequitable spatial distribution of non-museum heritage attractions across England. This study will assess whether there is an over- or under-supply in particular places or attraction-types and provide an evidence base for planning and policy. Beyond pure quantitative analysis, the study will examine the relationship between supply and demand in the heritage sector, analyse visitor drivers, and explore markets for alternative or additional uses for heritage spaces that might better serve the public.
