Description

The Authority intends to award a contract to Electrabel (a subsidiary of Engie) for the procurement of Gas & Electricity to Accommodations in Belgium: both Substitute Service Family Accommodation (SSFA) and Substitute Single Living Accommodation (SSLA).

A secure supply of electricity and gas is required to provide current and future properties and customers (entitled UK Service personnel) with a safe place to live and work whilst posted in Belgium.

The existing 2-year contract with Electrabel ceased on 30th September 2025, when the supply of electricity and gas continued off contract. Continuous provision of electricity and gas is necessary to meet the Statement of Need.

The proposed will be a 3-year contract with an In-Service Date (ISD) of 27th October 2025 to ensure the continuity of electricity and gas supply.
