Scope

Description

Herefordshire Council is seeking to appoint a single provider to deliver overnight short break services from a property in Herefordshire owned by the council. The service will also incorporate an outreach service to deliver support within in the child's family home and/or in the community.

Short breaks provide parents and carers with a break from their caring responsibilities, whilst confident that their child is safe and having fun with skilled carers who understand their needs.

It is Council's statutory duty to provide a range of short breaks and the service will form a part of local offer for children and young people with SEND, and their families.
